WWOOF韓國 WWOOF Korea 우프 코리아?!

第一次知道WWOOF 這個 programme 是偶然見到朋友d 農夫相，先發現原來有這些短期務農交流計劃，不需要申請 visa (因為是義工不會有收入，所以可當旅行入境) ，不需要資產證明，大部份不限長短 (不過最好至少留一個禮拜才可以真正感受工作和跟host 交流!)，沒有年紀上限，比working holiday flexible 很多，簡單來說就是申請聯絡好就可以出發!

WWOOF 是 World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farming 的簡稱，據說創辦人一開始是希望在weekend感受大自然和有機耕種而成立，後來演變到一個國際組織，在50多個國家都有分會，只要向分會申請就可以在那個地方WWOOF [原來香港都有host!]

WWOOF 強調 volunteer exchange，即一定要付出勞力才能換三餐一宿

今次到韓國WWOOF，想了很久haha 但實際行動大概1個月就可以。後來知道WWOOF Korea 那邊更新了網頁和簡化了申請程序，應該會更 user-friendly!

申請做WWOOF-er:

1) 到WWOOF Korea網頁填寫入會表格

2) 經 paypal(USD 55)或傳賬至WWOOF Korea 的賬戶(KRW 50,000)付年費，有效期1年

3) login member view – host list 選擇合適的農場，再聯絡host 商量WWOOF的日期

4) 出發！

如有問題，可以直接send email跟WWOOF Korea 聯絡，他們都回覆得很快很詳細 :)  另外他們有短期團體WWOOF (1-3天) ，不需要入會也可以參加，可看看他們的facebook page 

由於只有一個人，為安全起見我選擇的兩個農場都是由一家人營運，而且網上WWOOF-ers 的評價都很好，跟他們聯絡 (當時是需要自己直接send email給host) 也很快有回覆，所以就決定了!

目的地：JN106(Seola Dawon) 和JN116(Misil Farm)。

因為每個農場都只是留了1個禮拜，沒有幫到很多，但hosts都很好帶我到處玩，又認識了很多朋友，可以感受韓國平常生活，跟host 交流，感覺很充實滿足。重要是真正體驗到農夫的辛勞!! 雖然聽不太懂農作物跟雜草的韓文 lol 

如果想試試另類廉價文化交流旅遊，不妨WWOOF一下! Never too late!

第一次一個人旅行，第一次嘗試WWOOF

一直都想自製gap year 但是還沒有充足準備去working holiday…

偶然地發現有一個叫WWOOF (Worldwide Opportunities in Organic Farming) 的組織可以提供在有機農場打工換宿的機會，年齡/工作長短不限，沒有資金要求，而且因為是義工(沒有薪金的)無需申請working holiday visa，很適合我這些很想試但有可能是三分鐘熱度的人 XD

最後的起心肝去了２個禮拜WWOOF(還需要上班總不能請太長的假=,=)，地點是韓國全羅南道。特別選了一個有點偏門遠離遊客區但很想去的地方，可以順道練習韓文，當是挑戰中的一絲熟悉吧 haha

行程：

4.25	香港->首爾，青山島 Cheongsando청산도
4.26-4.27	青山島
4.27-5.3	全羅南道海南郡美實農場 Misil Farm 미실팜
5.4-5.8	全羅南道海南郡發芽大園 Seola Dawon 설아다원
5.9	首爾

整個旅程都很充實，非常感恩沿途遇見的人，很多蝦碌事 lol

除了頭尾在首爾之外，幾乎沒有看過外國人/遊客，也不知道還會不會再去這些地方，不過也想向有緣人介紹這些美麗的地方跟溫暖的人 : )

最後發現：一個人旅行絕對可以激發出本能的，包括改行程的能力，應付突發事情的解難能力，追巴士/火車/船的爆發力，看地圖的能力，面皮變厚，最重要應該是相信自己可以做得到的“念力” ? XD

一趟沒有試過真的會後悔的旅行… to be continued!

台中之旅最後一站﹣宮原眼科買手信！宮原眼科以前是眼科醫院，之後被日出集團買了再整修後，裡面保留著歷史的痕跡並推出餐飲服務，有雪糕珍珠奶茶手信餐廳。但我們真的太飽所以沒吃雪糕，不過很多人排隊應該很好吃

Last stop of our Taichung trip - buying souvenirs at the Miyahara! It was an eye hospital before and acquired by the company famous for selling dawn cakes.  After renovation, the company sold food and beverages inside Miyahara, such as icecream, bubble tea, souvenirs and operated a restaurant there.  I guess the icecream must be tasty as there were many people queuing up for that, but we were too full to try!

從彩虹眷村搭的士去德國秘密旅行吃午餐 (地址：台中市西區華美街412-1號). 一聽名字已經大概猜到是德國菜吧，但想不到裡面是這樣的夢幻！店員都是德國童話故事人物的打扮，餐廳不同的樓層有不同的主題，menu 好像是手畫的很漂亮，重要是食物很大份很好吃！！！真的有回到德國旅行的感覺 :D 

We took a cab from the Rainbow Military Community to the Traveler Kitchen (Germany) for lunch (address: Taichung, Xi District, Hua Mei Street 412-1).  We knew it is serving Germany specialty but can't believe it was that fairy-tale like! The staff there all dressed like fairy-tale characters, there are different themes on different levels, pretty hand-drawn menu with generous portion of delicious food! We felt like travelling back in times to our exchange trips in Germany :D 

吃飽後就散步去勤美術館，很喜歡在城市中綠化的概念，不過我們去當天勤美術館沒開 hahaha 轉戰附近的勤美誠品 :) 

We walked to CMP Block after our full lunch. Love the idea of having green in the busy city centre, but well the CMP Block is not opened on our day of visit so we went to the Eslite bookstore nearby :)

看到朋友在台中彩虹眷村拍攝的照片很特別，所以有點遠也去
也是選了的士，而且的士司機說不跳錶等候再載我們走，不然應該不太容易自遊行去

彩虹眷村經過老兵黃伯伯畫了壁畫後應該吸引很多人去參觀
不是很大的地方，很彩色，因為黃伯伯是香港人所以會看到劉德華等明星的抽象畫 hahaha 還有林書豪 XD
但是聽說可能很快要拆了.. 趁還在去參觀吧！有緣還會看到黃伯伯 :D

We took taxi there.  If not our taxi driver said he would wait for us and drive us to the next destination without charging extra, it would be quite inconvenient to get there on our own actually

The Rainbow Military Community must have attracted many people after an ex-soldier Mr. Wong painted on the walls.  The place is not very huge and covered wit colourful paintings.  Since Mr. Wong lives in HK before, there are also Picasso-style paintings of Andy Lau lol and also Jeremy Lin

Have a look there before it is closed down! you will also meet Mr. Wong if you are lucky

逢甲夜市 Feng Chia Night Market

逢甲夜市在逢甲大學旁，之前有想過搭巴士但實在需要等很久和車程很遠，所以直接搭的士 haha

Feng Chia Night Market is next to the Feng Chia University in Taichung.  Thought of taking the bus to get there but finally decided to take a cab to save the waiting and travelling time

就是整晚都在吃喝看買，沒甚麼特別但很開心！因為到很晚也很多人，沒有像過去幾天在山山天黑然後就睡覺 haha

Had been eating, drinking, sightseeing and shopping all night.  We were very happy as there was still many people on the streets even late at night, unlike our life on the mountains where people went to bed when sun sets... lol

終於回到市區！住也要時尚一點 hahaha 這次我們住在台中車站新驛旅店。
橙色的標誌很搶眼，大堂有休息的空間也可以讓我們收拾最後一刻掃貨的戰利品，早餐很豐富，服務人員很貼心，房間裝修很舒服，價錢也不貴
不過如果拿著很多行李的要留意，在台中車站到新驛旅店要步行到"後站"的出口，是地下的隧道但中間有樓梯，所以這個有點不方便

Finally back to the city! we lived in the CityInn Hotel (Taichung station branch) this time, a modern and nice hostel!
The sharp-orange-coloured logo, with a bright and wide lobby for guests to take a rest and to pack the souvenirs from last-min shopping, nice breakfast, friendly staff, nice room decoration and not very expensive
However please beware if you are carrying a lot of luggage, you have to walk through an underground with quite some stairs to exit at the "Rear Taichung station" when you walk from the Taichung station to the hotel.
