青青草原(綿羊show) - Cingjing Farm (sheep show)

清境的重點！就是照片上看到很美的地方，驚喜是可以看到以為沒得看的綿羊show :) 因為我們聽說只有週末才有但我們星期５去...
我們是坐民宿的車去(一般都應該有專車因為比較遠), 大約15 分鐘就到了！
入到去記住打手印，那麼到其他的園區就不用在買票，真的很大很大！

Highlight of Cingjing with picture-like scenery, and to our surprise we could watch the sheep show that is supposed to be shown during weekends only (we went there on a Friday)!
We went there by car service provided by our minsu (took around 15mins)
And remember to stampchop near the entrance then you won't have to pay when you visit other areas of the farm, it's a really big place!

可以玩大半天！風景很美 :)  can spend over half a day here with the beautiful nature!

紙箱王餐廳 Carton King Restaurant

紙箱王餐廳好像在台灣有很多分店，不過既然一場來到就去看看最高的紙箱王餐廳吧 （真正的原因可能是清境晚上沒包車的話沒有甚麼地方好去吧 hahaha)

地點就是在小瑞士花園旁邊，可以在這裡用午晚餐，也有特色博物館跟紀念品店, 在這裡消費滿 TWD300 就可以送小瑞士花園的入場卷

不過因為我們晚餐想吃道地菜所以只在紙箱王吃了午餐, 食物還可以, 店員服務很好

There appears to be many Carton King Restaurants in Taiwan but since we travelled all the way to Cingjing, let's visit the "highest" Carton King!

It is right next to the Swiss Garde and it serves lunch and dinner.  There is also a special paper museum there with souvenir shop.  If you spend over TWD300 in Carton King, you can get free entry to Swiss Garde.

However, as we wanted to try local dinner, we only had a quick lunch in Carton King.  The food is okay and the staff is helpful

小瑞士花園位於清境的觀光中心(?) 附近有紙箱皇跟旅客中心，對面是國民賓館

聽說在下午5/6 點以後買票第二天可以免費再多去一次

我們這次幸運地另外有買一送一優惠!! 很划算 haha

Swiss Garde is located at the central (?) tourist part of Cingjing with the Carton King restaurant and tourist centre nearby, and opposite to the Guomin Hotel.
You are also entitled to a free visit the next day if you visit the Swiss Garde at after 5/6 pm.  We even got a buy-one-get-one-free discount this time! 

小瑞士花園其實不太大，有一些人造的裝飾，拍照還不錯的
It's not a big place and is quite a good area for taking pics

另外順帶一提，因為我們在日落之後才從民宿出發，所以天很暗，本來從地圖上看以為一條路可以直達，但原來是上斜而且路很窄也沒有街燈，幸好有好心人載我們出去！短短５分鐘已經很感動    不過如果時間可以建議坐民宿的車啦

Just a little side note: it looks from the map that we can travel from hostel to Swiss Garde by a straight road, however, in reality it's an upward-sloping narrow road without street lamps... sort of scary since we left after sunset and it got very dark.  But luckily there's a kind uncle who drove us there.. really touched although it's only a 5-min drive.   Highly recommended to take the car provided by minsu if time allows.

清境民宿 ﹣明琴清境山莊 Ming Ging Farm

清境有好多不同特色既民宿，選擇之前可以先參考清境的官方地圖(http://www.cingjing.com.tw/map/map_08_trip.asp) 因為清境交通不是很方便，如果住得遠要計劃好交通

我們住的是明琴清境山莊 (http://www.mg.com.tw)，地理位置上不是很近觀光地點，不過民宿有安排特定的專車送住客出觀光地點都okay 可以問問職員

明琴清境的面積很大！分A,B,C,D 棟
A棟是check-in 的地方和餐廳, 大堂有沙發可以稍作休息
B棟是從A棟往上走約3分鐘, 門口有很大一隻的彼得兔 
C&D棟是從A棟往下走約5分鐘, 詳細可看民宿 website hahaha 因為沒有參觀

我們住在B棟，房間沒看到甚麼風景，不過房間很大很漂亮，所有淋浴用品都有齊而且乾淨

另外我們剛好在民宿看到日落！雲霧中看另有風味 :) 

第二天在A棟吃早餐，還可以吧！他們自製的燈籠果醬很好吃！
在早上8 點也可以參與農場主人的農場 tour hahaha 很多不同的花跟植物，農場主人很熱情地不停送我們植物

戴黑超的就是農場主人，大家都拿著大包小包 XD

也偶然地看到紅葉 :D 

Ming Ging Farm

There are lots of pretty "minsu" in Cingjing and could refer to this website (http://www.cingjing.com.tw/map/map_08_trip.asp) in your planning as the transportation is not very convenient up in the mountains... 

We chose Ming Ging Farm which has a great scenery.  Location-wise it was not close to the "centre" of Cingjing such as 7-11, Little Swiss.  However, it offers shuttle-bus service to the main tourist spots so you can ask the reception for the details. 

There are 4 blocks in Ming Ging Farm: 

Block A is where the reception and the breakfast area are

Block B is around 3 min-walk uphill from Block A with a huge Peter the Rabbit at the doors

Block C and D is around 5-min walk downhill from Block A... we didn't visit those so pls refer to the minsu's website! 

We stayed in Block B this time.  Not much scenery but the room is cozy and clean! 

Also just in time for the pretty sunset :) 

On the next morning, we joined the farm tour organized by the Minsu at 8am (can walk-in!).  The farm was really huge and the owner was super kind to offer us and teach us about different variety of flowers, herbs and stuff -- nice walk to start the morning!

台中機場 ﹣清境 Taichung airport to Cingjing [共乘車 Carpool]

搭 11:30 香港快運去台中清泉崗機場, haha 好彩沒有delay, 準時1點多到達
台中機場不是很大而且在山上，所以附近沒有甚麼好逛的
出閘之後會開到右邊有換錢的櫃位，左邊有旅客中心（可申請免費30天wifi 在機場／高鐵站使用), 前面有橙色的homee kitchen餐廳 - 不過要留意全部7 點多就關門! =.= 

在餐廳前面的等候區等共乘車就可以了！他們會拿著你名字的banner

我們預訂了e-go 清境觀光巴士 (http://www.cingjingbus.tw/), 其實從清境去日月潭那一程也是用他們的服務

跟據航班時間有不同的共程車班次，我們那一程是9 座的小巴，同行都是香港人 XD 
車程大概1個半小時，很舒適。在中途埔里有停一下休息吃東西再開往山上的清境！

Carpool from Taichung Airport to Cingjing
We chose the e-go Cingjing bus carpooling to travel from Taichung Airport to Cingjing ((http://www.cingjingbus.tw/).  The departure times are planned according to different plane arrival times.  They will carry a banner with your name to pick you up from the waiting area (in front of a restaurant in orange colour) in the airport.  It took around one and a half hour to get to Cingjing with a rest stop in Puli on the way.  Ours was a nine-people van with all the passengers from Hong Kong XD It's pretty comfortable and fast!  

*we also used their service for the ride from Cingjing to Sun Moon Lake. 

兩人輕鬆遊 2013 ﹣台中/清境/日月潭/阿里山 Trip to Taichung/Cingjing/Sun Moon Lake/Alishan 07-11 Nov

真係好耐無見！其實係因為好少自由行既旅行 lol 

今次係同朋友2人去台中, 為免麻煩但又想慳錢, 所以找了共乘車＋公車作主要交通。4人以上包車當然係最方便同容易就時間，但2人包車會有點貴，所以有這些共乘車公司真的很好！除了遊客，台灣人也會搭 (不過溫馨提示一下：台中既的士司機話這些共乘車公司雖然是合法但未必有為客人買保險）

大概行程：

Day 1: 香港 - 清境 (住明琴清境山莊)
Day 2: 清境 - 日月潭 (住朵麗絲的家）
Day 3: 日月潭 - 阿里山 (住新順利民宿）
Day 4: 阿里山 - 奮起湖 - 台中 (住新驛旅店) 
Day 5: 台中 - 香港

看起來很趕吧？不過還好，因為其實中間的行程好 hea hahaha
特別留意從日月潭去阿里山既那一程係沒有共乘車的，但相反方向既有，所以如果會在嘉義那邊住一晚可以從阿里山出發。但從因為到達台中的時間是下午1 點多不想浪費一晚，所以先去清境 :D


This time I went to Taichung with my friend (only 2 of us) so we thought it would be better to "carpool" for most of the time to save money and time.  Of course it will be the best to rent a taxi with driver if there are more than 4 people, but that would be pretty expensive for the two of us.  So - a great thanks to these carpool companies! (but a gentle reminder: the taxi driver in Taichung told us that these carpool companies are legal but they might not have bought insurance for their customers)

Itinerary: 

Day 1: Hong Kong - Cingjing (stay at Ming Ging Farm)
Day 2: Cingjing - Sun Moon Lake (stay at Doris House)
Day 3: Sun Moon Lake - Alishan (stay at Xinshunli Minsu)
Day 4: Alishan - Fenqi Hu - Taichung (stay at CityInn Hotel Plus)
Day 5: Taichung - Hong Kong

The schedule is not that rush actually lol 
And since there was no carpooling service from Sun Moon Lake to Alishan, we took public bus instead.  However, there's actually carpooling service the other way round from Alishan to Sun Moon Lake, so if you plan to stay in Jiayi for a night, you might consider starting from Alishan.  Yet as our plane arrived Taichung at around 1pm and we didn't want to waste the day, we decided to head up to Cingjing first.
